Lynda Barry is an American cartoonist, author, and teacher best known for her influential comic strip "Ernie Pook's Comeek," which has been published since the late 1970s. Her work often explores themes of childhood, creativity, and the intersection of art and autobiography, earning her critical acclaim and numerous awards, including the Eisner Award and the Guggenheim Fellowship. Barry is also a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she teaches courses on storytelling and creativity.
