About Napoleon Bonaparte
Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) was a French military and political leader who rose to prominence during the French Revolution and its subsequent conflicts. He became Emperor of the French in 1804, implementing a series of reforms known as the Napoleonic Code, which influenced legal systems worldwide. His ambitious expansion of French territory culminated in a series of conflicts known as the Napoleonic Wars, which ultimately ended with his defeat and exile to Saint Helena, where he died in 1821.
