About Buddha
Siddhartha Gautama, known as the Buddha, was a spiritual leader and founder of Buddhism who lived in ancient India around the 5th to 4th century BCE. Born into a royal family, he renounced his luxurious life in search of enlightenment after encountering suffering in the world. Through meditation and introspection, he attained enlightenment and shared his insights into the nature of suffering, leading to the development of the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, which guide millions in their spiritual practices today.
