About Robertson Davies
Robertson Davies (1913-1995) was a celebrated Canadian novelist, playwright, and essayist known for his rich narratives and intricate characters. A prominent figure in Canadian literature, he is best known for his acclaimed trilogies, including the "Department Q" series and the "Salterton Trilogy," which explore themes of identity, spirituality, and the human condition. In addition to his literary achievements, Davies was a founding member of the Writers' Trust of Canada and served as the first Master of Massey College at the University of Toronto, influencing generations of writers and thinkers.
