Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.

It's a tough balance, isn't it? I think Shakespeare's suggesting an ideal to strive for, even if perfection is out of reach. Maybe it's about minimizing harm and choosing the lesser of two evils when we must, always aiming to do the most good we can. It's more about the intention and direction of our actions, I believe.
