Eckhart Tolle's quote is pretty straightforward. It says that when you catch yourself drifting off, that’s actually the moment you're back in the now. It's like when you’re daydreaming in a meeting, and suddenly you think, "Oops, I'm not paying attention." Boom, you're present again. Think about when you're scrolling through your phone, lost in a sea of memes. Then you remember you were supposed to call your friend. That realization pulls you back to reality. You’re present again, aware of what you should do next. Quick tip: Try setting little reminders throughout the day to check in with yourself. It could be a note on your fridge or a timer on your phone. Just something to help you snap back to the moment. You'll find yourself more aware and less scattered.

When do we truly begin to experience the present moment, according to Tolle?

It's when we catch ourselves drifting away. Awareness of our distraction is the key. Embrace that moment of realization as a gentle return to now.
